The process of Macedonia’s integration to the EU

The Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia (FIOOM) and the Secretariat for EU issues of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia are implementing a series of tribunes on “The process of Macedonia’s integration to the EU and the perspectives”.

The tribunes are part of the FIOOM’ s campaign “Europe Now” and are organized by the NGO support centres. Four tribunes organized by the centres in Veles, Stip, Prilep and Kicevo have taken place so far. Their work has been supported by both, FIOOM and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Participants at the tribune that took place in Prilep, were the vice-president of the Macedonian Government, Ms Radmila Sekerinska and the EU Ambassador Erwan Fuere.

Nine more tribunes are to be organized in April by the eight NGO support centres in Gevgelija, Debar, Delcevo, Kratovo, Negotino, Resen Struga and Strumica (financed by FIOOM, the European Agency for Reconstruction and the Youth Cultural Centre from Bitola. At these, the citizens will be able to discuss with representatives from the EU Integration Sector.
