The traditional Vasilica cocktail took place
Money raised for the National Center for Interventions
The traditional humanitarian Vasilica cocktail, which has been organized by the National Women Council every year since 1993, took place on 21 January. This year, the occasion was the tragic death of 11 ARM soldiers.
The patron of the cocktail was the Minster of Internal Affairs, Gordana Jankulovska and participants were different government and international institutions, as well as business-sector representatives from the country. The money raised (2 920 Euros) go to the National SOS Center for Interventions for women victims of any type of violence. The Center sent special notes of gratitude to Cosmofon, which donated 1 000 Euros and the OSCE Monitoring Mission in Skopje and Tetovo, which donated 500 Euros.
