 The gender concept in the rural areas of RMThe Union of Macedonian Women Organizations (UMWO) has promoted the publication called "The gender concept in the rural areas of the Republic of Macedonia", which sums up the results from the research carried out on the gender concept in the rural areas. "We are aware of the women condition in the rural areas in the country. However, it is positive that now we have a publication to prove that. The researches in it show that the rural areas are still dominated by the patriarchal habits. In these areas, the politics is a man's job, and women role is reduced to being reproductive.", points out the promoter, Biljana Bejkaova, coordinator of the NGO Infocentre. |  |
