Ohrid Framework Agreement – a step forward

The conference called “Ohrid Framework Agreement – a step forward”, dedicated to the Ohrid Framework Agreement and with an objective to promote the values and the achievements of the agreement for strengthening the co-existence of all citizens in the country, took place on 8 February at the Macedonian Parliament.

The Conference was attended by the Macedonian Prime Minister, the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Mr. Olli Rehn, the vice-presidents and the ministries at the Government, parliament members, ambassadors, civil society representatives, political analysts, international experts, professors from different universities, and student union representatives.

Two sessions took place. At the first one, which took place right after the opening, the Vice-President of the Macedonian Government, Mr. Imer Selmani spoke on: “The values of the Ohrid Framework Agreement: benefits for all citizens in the Republic of Macedonia”, and at the second one, the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Olli Renn, spoke on: “Ohrid Framework Agreement: the road towards EU integration.”.

The Conference was organized by the Cabinet of the Vice-President of the Macedonian Government, Mr. Imer Selmani.
