Strengthening the local cultural institutions

“Culture management”

 

From 24 to 26 January this year, the performing arts centre “MULTIMEDIA” organized the workshop called “Culture management” at the Sirius Hotel in Strumica. The workshops is part of the programme for strengthening the local cultural institutions designed for the directors and the staff employed at the local cultural institutions, as well as for representatives of the local CSOs. The workshop was guided by the PhD Milena Dragisevik – Sesik, a long-term expert in the field of education and cultural institutions management.

The general programme of the workshop covered topics that were elaborated through team work on concrete examples such as: cultural management, cultural institutions and local cultural policy, organizational structuring and HR management, strategic problems when managing cultural institutions that lead the participants towards preparation of the new model for organizational programme structure in their organization and positioning the same within the local cultural environment.

The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, the European Cultural Foundation and partly by the US Embassy grant.
